A BALINESE OFFER DECORATION

During religious ceremonies, festively decorated fruits and foodstuff are brought to the temple as an offering. Balinese believed that certain foodstuff is an appropriate offering for certain deities. These offer dishes 'gëbogan/parjëgan' were decorated with wooden figures and were carried by women on the head to go to the temple.
