A TAIAHA MAORI WAR CLUB


The Taiaha was the most widely favored of the three types of two-handed long clubs used by Maori. This weapon was a “weapon of authority,“ which was used by chiefs in both attacks and defence.
Beautiful carvings on top on both sides, nice patina of use.
