A NUKUORO COCONUT GRATER

Coconut grater consisting of a wooden stool with a projection at the front to which is lashed a piece of shell with a serrated edge. The open side of a split coconut is rubbed and grated against the serrated shell. This is an unusually graceful example of this kind of grater, which lends itself to representation as an abstract quadriped.
