Provenance: Collected by the captain Frégate Eugène Brunet Monthélie, who, on 1 January 1847 is part of the staff of the Governor and Commissioner of the King near the Queen of the Islands of the Society, Pomaré IV.

Presumed period: late eighteenth century / early nineteenth.
Hardwood with thick brown patina. H 32 cm.

Very nice patina of use.
